Good day, good day. Another good day at Stonepark. Tomorrow will be a great day for our grade 7 students as it is Stonepark Spirit Day for the 7s and our annual Terry Fox Run. We’re asking the students to wear any blue or yellow or both tomorrow to show some school spirit. Also, I recommend some comfortable clothes for the Terry Fox Run – I imagine most will be walking but some may be eager and run a little. Also, there’s a BBQ for the 7s so lunch is on us but pack a snack or two, it will be an active day tomorrow. We’re still accepting loonies for Terry Fox if any students are looking to donate. Here’s what we got up to today.
Les sciences humaines 7A, 7B & 7C – We continued our daily review and the students are showing a strong understanding of Egyptian geography. We started working on the Ancient Egyptian hierarchy today and focusing on some of the specific roles. I will have the folder updated with these new materials once I make some changes to my powerpoint.
Les mathématiques 7C – We continued our review for translations to prepare for our quiz on Monday, October 1. We finished our introduction to reflections and the powerpoint is available in the folder for review.
FLA 7C – We reviewed our new questions and the students presented their favourite sports today. They were concerned about their pronunciation but I was overall very, very impressed. They should show their new skills at home.
