So, we’re back at it! Here’s what we got up to today.
Les sciences humaines 7B – We reviewed our material today, specifically the hierarchy of Ancient Egypt. We assigned a quiz for Thursday, November 15. It’s a bit sudden but we’ve been reviewing the material every class for over two weeks now so we should be good. It will be 12 multiple choice questions, so fairly quick. We began a quick study of Mesopotamia. We are required to compare two ancient civilizations, so I’ve chosen Mesopotamia.
FLA 7C – We completed our daily review and revisited our basic description questions. We revisited our ‘Ma famille’ assignment. The students are introducing members of their family and given a brief description of their appearance. We have two periods tomorrow and so we will complete everything they need in class and present tomorrow.
Les sciences humaines 7A – We reviewed our material and started on the last bit of the unit. We are studying Ancient Mesopotamia so we can compare two ancient civilizations. We watched a French video-clip as a means of introducing Mesopotamia and they picked up a lot of great information we will use in our comparison. Quizzes will be handed back tomorrow.
Les mathématiques 7C – We reviewed adding and subtracting positive and negative integers. We have our test tomorrow and they’re feeling good. I’ve updated the revision powerpoint in the math folder for students to use tonight when studying. We continued our introduction of converting and comparing percentages, decimals and fractions today.
