I apologize for being a day late posting this. Here’s what we got up to.
Les sciences humaines 7A – Some students were very prompt and handed in their project today. The assigned due date is Friday, November 16 but we do not have class Friday. So, I instructed the students that projects can be handed in on Monday in class. Our class time was cut short due to the daily physical activity. We got to go through the geography of Mesopotamia.
Les sciences humaines 7B – Today was quiz day and the grades should be up on SAS by the end of the weekend.
Les sciences humaines 7C – This class was also cut short due to the daily physical activity. I passed out a review sheet based around the Ancient Egyptian hierarchy. We scheduled a quiz for ourselves on Tuesday, November 20. The students can access the review page in the sciences humaines folder.
Les mathématiques 7C – We worked on converting fractions to decimal numbers. We initiated with simple fractions over 10 and 100 and then moved onto fractions over 4, 5, 20 and 25. We’re focusing a very specific strategy for those fractions by converting them to fractions over 100 in order to easily identify the decimal number.
FLA – Students presented their families and shared what we learned about our classmates’ families. There is a verification d’écoute assigned in SAS based around this activity.
