Another Thursday in the books. We had a little delay getting the day going but it was a good day nonetheless. The Parent-Teacher conference is postponed this evening but we still have tomorrow. The conference runs from 8h30 to noon so I hope you can make it out. Here’s what we got up to today.
Les mathématiques 7C – We tried a little pop quiz based on our conversion work – fractions to decimals to percents. The work looks good but there’s a common error here and there. We’ll take a look at it together next class. We began one of the main aspects of the unit – placing values in order. I’ve uploaded the questions used in class that the students can review and practice at home.
FLA 7C – We took another turn at using the Bescherelle for a written assignment. They are becoming more comfortable with it and the work is looking good. Good copies were handed in today and should be in SAS this weekend.
Les sciences humaines 7B – The students completed their self evaluations today and we got to spend some time on Mesopotamia. We watched a video in class and attempted to identify three things we can learn about Mesopotamia from the video-clip. We did well and we began comparing Mesopotamia with what we’ve learned about Ancient Egypt.
