I apologize for the delay but here’s what we got up to yesterday.
Les sciences humaines 7A – We began typing up our essays and things are looking good so far. We also have Tuesday’s class to complete our typing and editing. I will be really pushing the students to work on their self editing. Spelling and punctuation errors can be very commonplace and I want some of those bad habits lost.
Les sciences humaines 7B & 7C – We will be having a final test for the Egyptian unit late next week. We spent today’s class developing a class code, having some fun using the laws of Ancient Mesopotamia as an inspiration. The students do not seem to mind suggesting lost limbs as a form of punishment. We will be spending next week on review activities to prepare for the test.
Les mathématiques 7C – We completed some last class review and discussed Monday’s test. I gave the student some tips on how to study and reminded them to use their previous work sheets as a means of practice and studying – so they have items to work on no matter what they say. We completed some textbook work and those who were unable to finish need to work on it this weekend.

FLA 7C – I’ve uploaded some recent powerpoints for the students to use at home to practice. We are continuing with preferences for food and beverage and moved onto particular moments of the day or situations to discuss what we would prefer to eat or drink. We completed some class surveys and it seems Starbucks is a popular spot for the students. Those students who were absent should review and copy the questions in their duotang from the ‘Pendant la journée, qu’est-ce que tu aimes manger?’ powerpoint.
