The big social is tonight starting at 7pm. Admission is 5 dollars and there’s loads of things to do during the social. It’s a great time. Tomorrow is Red/Green day and I promised my 7Cs that the best dressed will receive a prize courtesy of myself. Report cards were handed out today! Here’s what we got up to.
Les sciences humaines 7C – We continued some work on our review questions. We worked with a partner to confirm or correct our answers. We then looked at some practice multiple choice questions to see how well we understand the questions. There were strong results and some boosted confidence in the room.
Les sciences humaines 7A – We continued our essays today and they are due tomorrow at the end of class. The students need to look at their essays tonight and put some work into them to ensure they will have it complete by the end of class tomorrow.
FLA 7C – We completed some conversation activities using the notes from the previous two classes. The students need to review those at home. We are now looking at situations in a restaurant and how to order.
Les mathématiques 7C – We started Unit 4 today. The unit focuses on ways of expressing probability – ratios, fractions and percents. We did quite a few examples and some students were lucky enough to earn a lollipop. The students seem pretty comfortable with the means of organizing and identifying the correct information. We did some textbook work and some students did not complete the work. The homework is as follows:
