It was nice to see some red and green in the classroom today. I have a little treat for those who were able to participate today – I’ll hand them out tomorrow. Also, rumour was that last night’s social was a great time. Here’s what we got up to today.
Les sciences humaines 7A – We had another day with the chromebooks to finish up our essays. A majority of the students still needed some time so I was able to to book some time tomorrow to complete the final touches. Many students are really making an effort to self-edit their work which I really appreciate.
FLA 7C – The students are working on a dialogue assignment using the vocabulary and phrasing for ordering in a restaurant. We used today to complete the dialogue and we will present them tomorrow. They’re getting pretty creative with these assignments and putting together some entertaining skits.
Les mathématiques 7C – We worked on the probability of singular events. The students are doing well with the concept and working well with the questions from the textbook. Many are running into snags with the vocabulary in the text. Students need to remember their dictionaries to class to help with those snags.
Les sciences humaines 7C – We did some review activities in preparation for Monday’s test. We do not have social classes between now and then so if there are any questions or help is needed, please check in me outside of class time. I’ve uploaded a review game for the students to use to study – Zut Zah Zou.
