Bonjour and good day. Two general announcements for the week. The Stonepark Green Team has organised a battery recycling program for the week. If you happen to have any dead batteries lying around or in your junk drawer, send them on in. The green team will organise them to be recycled for you. Also, the French Immersion 7 Math students will begin their reach-back homework. Every night there will be specific math homework based on something they have already studied and been tested on. The homework should only last about 10 minutes and is to be completed in a separate math duotang or notebook. Every Friday the teacher will check for the completion of that week’s homework. The homework can be found in the google classroom (code is kus8b7).
Here’s what we got up to today.
Les sciences humaines 7A & 7C – We reviewed our Greek geography and Greek mythology notes. The 7C’s completed the gods and goddesses of Ancient Greece, their patronage, symbols and relation in the family. The 7A’s worked on a reading comprehension based on the legend of Echo.
FLA 7C – We completed the restaurant skits and reviewed the vocabulary and phrasing for this unit. We started a reading comprehension activity but ran out of time. We will continue tomorrow.
Les mathématiques 7C – We reviewed the divisibility rules and applied them to two 3 digit numbers. We started into some textbook work to apply the rules. We will have a test this Friday, January 18 for this unit.
