Tonight’s social has been postponed and the new date is TBD. We had a great assembly today with guest speaker, Chris Nilan. He spoke to his addiction to drugs and alcohol, its impact on his family and his road to sobriety. If you have a chance, please look him up; his is a great story. Here’s what we got up to today.
Les mathématiques 7C – We reviewed the vocabulary for mathematical expressions and the format for applying values to the variables. The students completed two in-class assignments applying those skills and they’ve been graded and put into SAS. We will be moving onto equations next. The google classroom has been updated with tonight’s homework.
Les sciences humaines 7C – We reviewed the government structure and the process of debating and discussing laws, Ancient Greek style. I used five examples developed by some students and we practiced the process of passing laws to help with the next assignment. The students are to make their own law along with two or three reasons why it should be passed in Ancient Greece. They need to have that complete for Wednesday.
