Here’s today’s story!
Les sciences humaines 7B & 7A – We reviewed geography and completed the social structure graphic on page 5 and 6 of our notes. We then brought some math into the classroom. We used population figures from the 2nd century and the present to see how Rome, as a city, compares to modern day cities in terms of percentage of the global population. The students have to complete questions 1 to 6 on page 8 of their student notebook. It has been updated in the sciences humaines folder in case it is needed.
Les sciences humaines 7C – We worked on the social structure pages, pages 5 and 6, today. We had some fun trying to deduce the hierarchy of ancient Rome using our notes and definitions. Unfortunately, no one was able to accurate place the seven social groups.
Les maths 7C – We worked on some group questions for adding and multiplying decimal numbers. Tests were given back and the students were able to take a look at their mistakes made on the first Foundational Quiz.
FLA 7C – We practiced some futur proche questions, asking each other what we are going to do this weekend and what we’re going to eat for supper tonight. We then had a chance to complete our email responses. I have everyone’s copy and will go through them tonight.
