One general announcement. There are no classes Friday, May 10 for the Grade 7 students. We are hosting an orientation for Grade 6 students that day. A big thanks to our Grade 7 volunteers who will be here to assist our orientation.
Les sciences humaines 7A & 7C – We reviewed the homework for the demographics of the Roman empire. We then moved onto our hypotheses for the role of women in the empire and we did quite well. We briefly covered some of the social norms for education and marriage and some great questions were asked of me.
Les maths 7C – We had a little decimal number competition with addition and completed some review questions in the textbook. We have our in-class assignment tomorrow on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimal numbers. Students can continue to work on page 121, questions 6, 7 and 8 to prepare for tomorrow. The google classroom has been updated with the homework and I will be taking in the duotangs tomorrow.
FLA 7C – I introduced the final project for the Stress unit. The students were given a sample of the project and we to evaluate it based on the criteria given and the presentation rubric. The students have a good understanding of the assignment and we will start the assignment tomorrow with our first draft.
