Good day and bonjour. Sales for our ‘recipe in a jar’ fundraiser started coming in and it was a strong start. Please continue to sell, especially my 7D crew, we want that honour of being the top class. Here’s today’s lessons.
Les maths 7D & 7C – We reviewed translations on the Cartesian Plane, mainly to practice the phrasing for expressing a translation. We wrote our Cartesian Plane quiz and those should be marked before the end of the weekend. I also handed back the Cartesian Plane project today and the grades are in SAS. I took in the homework duotangs and that will be recognised in SAS as well.
Les sciences humaines 7A – We held a mock election today after reviewing our notes. It was simply an activity to demonstrate how someone becomes prime minister. We toured around a virtual parliament and completed some notes on the legislative branch of our government.
La science 7D – We reviewed our notes for the states of matter and the terminology when it changes state. We worked in our workbook and completed questions 1, 2, 3, and 6. We will be looking at a quiz soon on this portion of the unit. A date will be determined Monday.
Le français 7E – We completed some oral comprehension evaluations and practiced the vocabulary and phrasing for intros. The presentation we used is in the French folder for students to review and practice at home. The students completed a mini-biography assignment and those will be marked for the next class.
