Joyeux Hallowe’en. One general announcement in regards to the Recipes in a Jar fundraiser. The jars are scheduled to arrive tòmorrow. Stonepark has set up a pick time for everyone Saturday, 9am to 12 noon here at the school. The order forms were returned to the students today and they are responsible to contact those who have ordered through them and inform them of the jar pick up schedule.
Les maths 7C & 7D – We wrote our second unit test on adding and subtracting positive and negative integers.
Les sciences humaines 7D – We scheduled a quiz on the Egyptian geography for Tuesday, November 5. We reviewed some more today and we will continue the next few classes. They have their student notebook to use for studying, if not, I have a copy included in my sciences humaines folder. We spent a large chunk of the class researching Egyptian mythology that we will continue tomorrow.
La science 7D – We reviewed mass and volume. Some students are admitting that they are not reviewing their notes and material at home, and some of yesterday’s homework was not completed by many. All the students have a review guide to use at home and if it is forgotten, it is available in my science folder. We worked on acidity and basicity by organising the differences within a graphic organiser.
Le français 7E – We had a little conversation with our class evaluations and dug into our writing assignment. The students had the opportunity to put the final touches on their paragraph. We started into the dialogue assignment, but the bell rang before we got really into it.
