One special announcement for tomorrow – the students are able to purchase some class time for their smart devices. Students can pay two dollars to use their devices to listen to music while they complete their classwork. Here was our day.
Les sciences humaines 7D – The students received their visual projects back and they were all very well done. We started into a study of Mesopotamia, specifically into the region’s geography. We are using the information to compare with the structure of the Ancient Egyptian civilization.
La science 7D – We started with a review of Homogeneous and Heterogeneous mixtures. I then handed back the test assignments we completed last week. They were a bit of struggle for the students but it was a good practice to examine the student’s study and work habits. The grades were low but we will use this test as a motivation for restructuring our approach to the outcomes and assignments in the next chapters.
Les maths 7C & 7D – We continued our study of the divisibility rules for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. We completed most of the rules today applied the rules to a few collections of numbers to measure our understanding.
