Here’s the news from Stonepark’s 7D! The school has started a Battery Blitz! The school’s Green Team has organised a used battery collection for the students and their families looking to recycle their old, used batteries. They’ve also put a challenge out to the homerooms to see which class can collect the most (in weight, not number). Let’s win another one 7D! Secondly, the Charlottetown Rural students have organised a second after school session for tutoring on Tuesdays. I have a few of my students who attend and have seen a complete change in their work and comprehension. This crew from the Rural are awesome and do a fantastic job. It’s an enthusiastic recommendation.
Les sciences humaines 7D – We reviewed Greek mythology and worked on a comprehension activity using the legend of Echo and Narcissus.
Les sciences 7D – The students started into section 3.4 on habitat in the work book. I have uploaded a handout prepared by Mme Scott for the vocabulary and information necessary for this particular section of chapter 3.
Les maths 7C & 7D – The students reviewed writing equations and expressions from word problems and verifying their final answers. We scheduled our test on Tuesday, February 25. We will continue to review tomorrow and Monday to prepare for the test. The google classroom has been updated and I will be looking for the duotangs tomorrow!
